What is the world worth? - Pavan Sukhdev Time To Think Green

What is the world worth? - Pavan Sukhdev

It’s the topic everyone is talking about. Environmental damage is already costing us trillions a year, according to Pavan Sukhdev, head of the UN Green Economy Initiative. Grab someone green minded and head out for a thought provoking evening. Pavan applies numbers to things that nature does for free - like purifying drinking water, supplying food and fuel, protecting coasts from storms, and generally keeping humans alive and healthy. In his only public lecture in Sydney, Pavan Sukhdev will explain why saving nature saves money, and what Australia now needs to do to balance the environmental books. This is sure to give you both enough to think and talk about over many future dinner dates. Tell me more
