Surry Hills Festival 2010

Grab your favourite street market rat and head to the Surry Hills Festival ‘2010’. The festival will showcase the thriving creative community of Surry Hills, the festival this year will be celebrated in parks and other sites across the suburb on Saturday 10 April while its regular home, Prince Alfred Park, undergoes a much needed face lift. The 2010 festival will be creative, intimate and have a community picnic feel with the focus of the festival celebrations at Ward Park (Devonshire Street) & Shannon Reserve (Crown Street). The Surry Hills Community Centre will also feature some great activities for the young and young at heart and introduce the community to the fabulous new centre. As well, satellite events will take place in venues across the 2010 suburb.
