Sydney's restaurant scene is a tough place to remain at the top for a long time, but Paddington noshery Buzo has deservingly managed to do just that. A classic Sydney date if you're looking for fabulous, upmarket Italian fare made with ultra-fresh local produce. A word of advice - avoid the house made desserts at your peril, you'll be surprised they weren't actually Fedexed straight from Rome - tutti mangiare!

You don't need to get on a plane to take your taste buds on vacation! When King Alfonso the Wise recovered from his 'illness' by drinking sangria and nibbling small dishes, he invented tapas. Channel a little of King Al as you munch your way through plate after plate of tasty Spanish morsels from Jah Bar.

When it comes to dinner dates, great things come in small, shareable packages, think tapas! Bodega's motto: “BARRIGA LLENA, CORAZON CONTENTO” (full belly happy heart) says it all. Ben and Elvis (the guys that started this tapas joint) decided Sydney was ready for their favourite style of eating - sharing and experiencing flavours in a relaxed environment. Sounds like a pretty perfect date to us.

White table cloth candlelight dinners dates with stunning surroundings aren't for everyone, but if predictable flawless romance is what you're after, Pier is just the spot. It's internationally renowned and awarded as Australia’s finest seafood restaurant and its success lies in its attention to detail and only serving the finest seasonal produce available. This one never disappoints.
