You've met someone new, and you'd like to impress them, but you don't want to seem over the top. Winning date idea: Art After Hours. The Art Gallery of New South Wales is open every Wednesday night until 9pm. The evening is packed with something for everyone. As well as all exhibitions and the permanent collections on display, the evenings include live performances, art discussions, noteworthy films and music. The Gallery shop, cafe and bar, and members lounge are also open. Best part, it's all free and there are free shuttle buses to the CBD. This has our vote for best easy first after work date hands down.
